Low Voltage Pole Top Configuration for Rural Electrification A low voltage pole as used in Lao PDR. The low voltage pole can carry 2 wire, three wire and four wire (three phase) at 230/400 Volts. The low voltage configuration in Lao typically uses vertical open wire construction, either insulated or uninsulated. This is least cost as the poles are manufactured locally and the line hardware is available in local markets. The low voltage configuration shown can be used for the LV in SWER systems. For larger motors the motor can be connected 240/240. |
